Join us; together we can make a difference as part of a network of citizen diplomats.  Whether it is across the street or across an ocean, together we recognize our similarities and respect our differences.

Our meetings are held monthly.  This year we are mixing it up and trying different days and locatins.
Check out the "Calendar" to find the meeting date, time and location of the current month's meeting.
We meet from September through June, starting at 7:00 PM.
We will be adding more Skype and teleconference meetings this year.

The 2011 - 2012 Season will begin with our first meeting 9/28/11.

Our focus this year is:
- Building our student exchange program
- Increasing our participation in opportunities of global citizen diplomacy
- Increased partnering with organizations that have similar goals
- Learning more french words!

We have speakers; Senegalese representatives of groups and various organizations.  We also have speakers from U.S organizations that are doing work in Senegal and/or have similar interests (Sister Cities International, AMAS, IBSAC, KIVA, DC Dakar, etc.).

We also participate in events such as; Sister Cities International conferences, The Union of Native and Friends of Casamance events, Africare conferences, and much more.

This is an excellent way to build new skills, and meet and interact with a variety of people, organizations and cultures as represented by members in the United States and in Senegal.   And most importantly, build friendships.
